Abstract

Artistic gymnastics belongs to complex coordination sports. To perform complex technical elements and facilitate the study of actions with complex movements, trainers use an “additional” equipment – a trampoline. When in artistic gymnastics girls began to perform rotations in the longitudinal axis and “transfer” acrobatic elements and jumps to the gymnastic carpet and other types of all-around gymnastics, coaches began to use the trampoline more often. It can also be used to develop the physical qualities of gymnasts as part of trampoline training. Objective. To substantiate the relations of trampoline training with training gymnasts. Methods: analysis of scientific and methodical literature; surveying specialists in gymnastics; pedagogical observation; pedagogical experiment. The results. Conducted studies have shown that for the full training of gymnasts of any age, it is necessary to use trampoline exercises. The analysis of questionnaires of specialists who work with female gymnasts showed that the use of trampoline training helps coaches in developing the physical qualities of gymnasts, acquiring skills, learning elements, and sometimes replacing some equipment for high-quality performance of exercises in easier conditions. Pedagogical observation and pedagogical experiment showed that when trampoline training is used, learning quality increases in some groups by several percent, in some groups by two or three times. Therefore, in the training process of gymnasts, the trampoline can be considered the main tool for mastering complex coordination actions and developing physical qualities in relaxed conditions.
