Abstract

The article carries out a comprehensive analysis of physical education amidst the concept of the New Ukrainian School. The problems arising in the process of implementing the concept in the practice of school education, in particular, in the field of physical culture, are emphasized. Aspects related to the variety of conditions, lack of sufficient funding, lack of student motivation, as well as staffing problems and unequal approach to physical education in different educational institutions are considered. Emphasis is placed on the prospects for improving the process of physical education within the New Ukrainian School, including modernization of educational programs, development of infrastructure, improvement of the professional training of a teaching staff, creation of an effective incentive system, and expansion of opportunities for student participation in sports and physical culture activities. The systematic substantiation of the research results is aimed at understanding and solving the problems arising in the context of physical education during the implementation of the concept of the New Ukrainian School in the modern Ukrainian education system. Purpose. To investigate the peculiarities of the transformation of physical education in the educational process of the New Ukrainian School. Research methods:theoretical analysis and generalization of scientific literature data, content analysis of documentary and statistical materials, analysis of Internet resources. Results. It was revealed that the process of physical education in the concept of the New Ukrainian School faces some problems and challenges, which indicate the difficulty of implementing physical education within the framework of the new concept of school education. The analysis showed that the main problems are the lack of resources, material and technical support, and proper development of the appropriate sports infrastructure, the insufficient professional training of physical education teachers, and the ineffectiveness of the methods used. At the same time, the study established the potential of physical education within the framework of the New Ukrainian School in improving programs, increasing attention to the physical health and active lifestyle of students, and creating opportunities for innovation in the education system. This can contribute to the formation of healthy and harmoniously developed youth, but it requires complex support from the state, schools, and teachers to solve the mentioned problems. The research findings demonstrated that physical education implemented within the framework of the concept of the New Ukrainian School reveals both problems and prospects. The main challenges remain the limitation of time and resources, insufficient training of teachers, as well as the lack of modern methods. At the same time, the concept opens up new opportunities for improving programs, draws attention to the importance of physical development and health of students, and promotes the development of innovations in the education system for the formation of healthy, active and harmoniously developed youth.
